Before installation, J9's Luxury Auto Detailing performs a standard visual inspection of the vehicle's paint condition. Many vehicles, even brand new ones, leave the factory with minor surface imperfections such as paint nibs, paint texture variations (orange peel), light marring, sanding marks, or small inconsistencies in the clear coat. These are considered normal factory conditions and are outside the installer's control.

Paint Protection Film (PPF) is a transparent material that conforms to the surface beneath it — meaning any existing blemishes, texture, or unevenness in the paint will remain visible or may appear more noticeable once the film is applied. The film does not mask or correct paint defects; it protects what already exists.

Customers are encouraged to review their paint condition prior to installation. By proceeding with service, the customer acknowledges awareness that factory paint imperfections may be visible through the film and do not constitute installation defects.

While we attempt to take note of paint imperfections prior to install — some do not become visible until after installation as PPF can act like a magnifier for what's below.
